I just noticed that adsense changed it from saying “earnings” to “estimated earnings”. Log in and see for yourself…
Dictionary meaning of “Estimated” is :
- To calculate approximately (the amount, extent, magnitude, position, or value of something).
- A tentative evaluation or rough calculation, as of worth, quantity, or size.
- A statement of the approximate cost of work to be done, such as a building project or car repairs.
Does this means that earnings shown in “Estimated Earnings” section will be tentitive and can change as the day Progresses !
This is the one BIG question that if the PAge impressions and Click ratio changes over the Period on the same day then Will the earnings also change?
Lets see how well this goes , we will have to wait and watch !!
UPDATE :
I was on the Adsense blog to find any update regarding this and they have posted about the issue in the hand . Here is what they mean to say :
“ In order to be more transparent about how our system calculates earnings, we’ve added the words “Estimated” and “Finalized” next to “Earnings” throughout your account. Rest assured these terminology changes don’t reflect a change to the way your finalized earnings are calculated. It’s simply intended to give you a clearer idea of what’s our estimation of your earnings and what’s finalized. ”
So i guess things are more clear now !
