There are not many script available which promise to be a powerful Article Directory. If you search for Paid scripts you will get 20 – 30 of such script all offering great things and making superhuman promises.
Anyways since i am writing this article for free article directory script , As i know weveryone is being hit by recent recessesion.

2. Script from www.Articledashboard.com is one of the better looking scripts to me .
But it has encoded Php files in it so there are some sections in the site which cannot be edited by us.
I guess Author is not interested in making it open source. The script is SEF.
You need to sign up thier newsletter to download the script btw.
3. WDS (Websight Directory System) is a piece of PHP software allowing you to run an Internet Link Directory in a similar fashion to the Open Directory Project. It is open source, version 1 being licensed under the GPL. Version 1 was specifically aimed at PHP4.
